i dought its that painful im thiking of getting mine done id say its just like an ear piercing maybe slightly more painful because they dont use a gun for the lip

For anyone else that's wondering though, they're small, clear plastic (though I've seen them in glass) studs, that are hardly noticeable from the outside. :)
