Thats great investigation and it helped fire people who dont do their job, but as a jiffy lube employee, i have to say that not all stores scam their customers. we actually do the work and dont sell shit to people that they don't need. yes, occasionally there are mistakes but we pay fully for our mistakes and take responsibility. so dont think all jiffy lubes are shit cuz they aren't.

I just got my oil changed at a Jiffy Lube in Minnesota. They charged me for 8 quarts of oil when my owner's manual clearly states that it takes 6. What is worse is that my car is now leaking oil. They stripped the threads on my oil pan, and instead of telling me or fixing it, they tried to stop the leak with a couple rubber stoppers, which did not work. I brought the car back and they claimed that they are not responsible. Jiffy Lube is a fucking scam!!!

Jiffy Lube? More like Stiffyou Lube after seeing this video. I don't own a car, but if I ever did, I'll never go to a repair shop that won't let me watch their employees do the work like Stiffyou Lube. Thanks for putting up the video.

That's why never go to shops like Pepboy, firstone, Jiffy lupe,...place where they don't allow you to watch how they fix car. I always go to those local small shop where I watch them doing their job & ask for the old parts that's replaced. my local repair shop never try to sell me anything unless I ask him for suggestion..........However, it's reality that those dirty, dishonest, company are always the one to stay in business & making huge profit...

Wow! Never knew that this was really happening and now I wonder if its wide spread or if they rip me off also cause I use Jiffy Lube on a regular basis for many years now. How wide spread is this problem and when was this taping on the news show aired the first time??

damn 5/9 thats a shit load. but yeah Jiffy lube is a ripoff my friend used to work there and he said they used to just go out back smoke a blunt , with his manager then change the oil and charge for a all sorts of different shit.
