Such an awesome concert! I saw this show when they toured it shortly after the union in New York concert. These guys are perfectionists! I'm in the business of writing and photographing for magazines, so I've been to thousands of concerts! Of ALL the concerts I've been to, this was the most perfect sound I've EVER heard! -tears- running down my face while Art sings this!

Only they know what they truly feel about each other, but their history together, from the time they went to school together onward is filled with dischord and arguments. Paul says Art's taking of some movie roles took time away from the group. Art says that it upset him that Paul never acknowledged his contribution (singing) to the group's success, though Art always applauded Paul's songs. A producer once said that Paul resented that Art's voice was preferred by their record label.

is it just me or do they really just like they hate each other. in all their recent live shows it looks like that

One of the lovely things about Art was that to look at him, one wouldn't expect such a pure, but powerful, sound to come out of him. The Simon & Garfunkel concert I attended in the '70's was one of the best I've attended, not to mention proving the emotional power of live singing vs lip synching. Both Paul and Art gave it their all during a concert, and it was appreciated and remembered well.
