Depends what your idea of fun is. Yes,it's less serious than the original, perhaps even a little demeaning to its spirit if you're a skeptical critic of covers. I didn't like it at first either but I soon found myself enjoying the light-heartedness of this version. So, one person's 'sad' is another person's 'fun' is my point here...

I enjoy techno. I actully go to many raves....
besides that, I know what fun is... and again... this is not so fun.
