I have two questions for you
1. What in your opinion makes a Jew?
2. What form of Judaism do you follow?

Your post is not in compliance w/ Judaism. Talmud - equal to 5 books of Moses - is clear on who is a Jew. I went to Kasdan's assembly on several occasions - the service does not comply w/ basic orthodox/conversative/reform services and fails to comply w/ oral Torah. He was trained at a Christian school - which is fine, if you are Christian. Please do not insult another religion.

Sorry! I desagree, again you don't seem to know the difference, and no being a Jew by birth has nothing to do with being a Christian, so if you don't have respect that is your right, I just think you don't seem to know the difference.

As a Jew, I disagree. I attended his services and classes. They are not the same as true Jewish worship. They are Christian. He reads more from the Christian scriptures. His Hebrew is average. His congretation sells merchandise on Shabbos. He invitied Jews for Jesus to speak at a service. His service order does not correspond to the siddur.

One cannot be Jewish and Christian at the same time. So-called "Messcianic Jews" are Christian. There is nothing wrong with being Christian. They should identify themselves as such. I would have more respect.

In all branches of Judaism, no one has been ultimately accepted as the Messiah, although numerous individuals through history claimed to be the Messiah. I attended Kasdan's services and classes, which are held in a Bapist Church. They sell merchandise on Shabbos. Their services do not follow the Jewish Siddur - They sing "Yeshua (Jesus)" praise songs, brief Torah service, Kasdan sermon. His sermons are Christian.

Messianic Jews are exacly that, Jews who belive Yeshua is the promise Messiha writen in the Tanach, what is so hard to understand? no a Messianic Jew is NOT a Chrsitian because they are NOT. Messianic Jews are no different then any other Jew and thier synagogues maybe be you should visit a Messianic Synagugue before you point the finger and if you desagree, it is ok, that is your choise, it does not make you better or worst then anyone else. |
