I need help with my Metal Gear Solid conversion. I used "cloneCD" and then I converted the "image.img" file with "popstation 3.80". The game starts good and everything. I can play the first part of the game just fine but after I get out of the "elevator"(where it says "Metal Gear Solid" for the first time) the next scene shows fine(where Liquid Snake flies off in a Russian helicopter), then when it goes to load so that I can continue playing, my screen just stays black...forever. Help..please.

it also works with 3.71 m33. but i only tried crash bandicoot 2 & 3 and crash bash

Yeah you can use 5.00 M33 it works, but not all psx games work. Well at least for me.

I have firmware 5.00 M33. Can I use this CFW to play the converted psx games or do I need 3.80 M33? If anyone one can answer this question I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

you need custom firmware dude not just any firmware.
