I really wonder what the next video format is going to be - I knew when the DVD discs came out that they had a few things that could be improved upon, but with blu-ray, it's like, what else can they possibly do better? Amazing.

Also, internet downloading and USB file transfers r easily to have copyright issues which r highly concerned by all the companies. Bill Gates maybe said that, but look, he doesnt even sell his windows Vista on a USB.

but so far, there isnt any better media format than blu-ray. ya, maybe Xbox360 will allow users to download entire games from their live site, but a game that is about 20~30GB which will take u forever to download it. dont tell me microsoft will come up with some high speed internet connection, it is harder to market it since microsoft cant upgrade all the internet cables in the world. that will have to be up to the ISPs.

maybe but the future of blue ray/dvd drives will be an external burner drive to do data backups and play old music and data libraries, optical media is obsoleting fast! Even Bill Gates stated in a public speach that music will be soon sold entierely as usb albums, and movies and games will move on to sd and xd flash cards. The new generation xbox wont even need a cd player so spending lots of cash on a Blu ray drive is overkill,let prices rock bottom and then get one for convennience sake only.

its not about overpowered. its just that cross genre sucks. either make it racing-driving game or a shooter.

vehicles usually ruin the gameplay. They're overpowered most of the time. I prefer just my small-medium map with just guns.
