True, but you know, things like that don't get overlooked even if they make it through the entire race. Look at that Yuji Ide fella. He got hit with a lot of complaints about his driving habits. I still have yet to see a lot of his racing, so I can't judge his skills, but yeah I love everything about sports cars and I especially like Japanese Domestic Market cars like Skylines and Supras. I want to visit Japan too.

It was totally wrong. That guy must watch hillbilly racing aka nascar. that is a move straight from the boring nascrap series. btw I hate nascar and I love Sports Cars and IndyCars ! and i love Japan!

If u blip the throttle too much before the next gear is engaged...it will give an extra push once the gear is engaged with can upset your braking balance. So the key is to get it just right to allow a seamless downshift. Just my experience from my own driving is all I know about this.

not necessarily high, but at the right rpm's to match the gear that you're changing into.

I DO drive a manual right now. That's why I know that having the clutch IN DOESN'T help slowing down. With the clutch in the gear is disengaged and there is no engine breaking. You want to heal toe and quickly get it in the lower gear for the engine breaking.

because you need to clutch as you rev the motor on the downshift. As far as I know GTSupra crashboxes need the clutch on the downshift only.
