very true that people need to have thier own jazz style. but not everyone has one. josh is redic! and has a shit lot of music cred. but im sure he didnt just do it on his own. he has stole or borrowed ideas from others players.

I think you're right about the horns.
James Carter plays Lawton mouthpieces with plasticover reeds (I don't know if he still uses those). According to his website, Joshua Redman plays 7 or 7* vintage rubber Links with superial reeds. |
