No Holmes wouldn't have toyed with Foreman come on get real. It would have been a very good fight and I would have given a slight edge to Holmes in his prime.

I think that Larry Holmes would outbox George Foreman comfortably 8 or 9 fights in 10 and most people that know boxing would probably say the same. With his power George would always have a punchers chance. But if Shavers couldnt stop Holmes despite catching Larry clean then I dont think George could. Larry was certainly passionate whilst delivering his speech. I think he was feeding of the energy from the crowd and he doesnt need much encouragement to go off on one! lol Great Champion!!
