What are you talking about? We don't have a race problem, it's a subculture problem thing. There are many cool and law-abiding black folks who are hard workers but it's this ghetto/rap subculture that's destroying them and many other young people from other racial backgrounds.

I agree with you my friend... over half of the population of New Orleans lived off welfare. The ones who cared about the city stayed and started rebuilding. The "thugs" decided to loot by stealing from businesses making rebuilding even more difficult. What I saw in the video is utterly disgusting and they should've been shot. What we need are men and women to rise above the situation. My thoughts and prayers go out to the ones who refuse to give up and do the right thing.

It's talked about because of the fact that, as you said, it was neglected by local government. Because babies, I don't know, died without water. And it was five days before the head of FEMA, as he himself said, found out about all the people at the convention center, dying on live tv. A toilet bowl that needed flushing? What, like if enough black folk die the US will be better? It was sad, so we remember it, like 9/11. We talk more about the twin towers than we do about the pentagon. Both sucked
