Brad Paisley is an artist who has a very unique style and is much better at playing licks that range from high to low notes white Urban is better at playing licks that are more repetative.
But they both tottaly rock!

keith has a unique style. it ranges from blues country and heavy metal. just listen to the riffs he plays in this video

I used to like Urban quite a bit. However, when he came out with LOVE, PAIN & THE WHOLE CRAZY THING, I started to hate his music, except for that duet he did with Ronnie Dunn on that album and "Start a Band" with Paisley from Paisley's PLAY. Anyway, I don't like Urban's newest single, "Sweet Thing," either. Urban went from having a country sound to all-out pop. In fact, since he's been married.

pi4squared: Listen to Paisley's instrumentals, which are not only country, but there is also a surf rock instrumental, a rock instrumental, a blues instrumental, a bluegrass instrumental, a jazz instrumental, etc. I have only heard Urban play country, rock and blues guitar. Urban is a really good guitarist but, when it comes to Paisley, not many can play like that--Urban is one of them.
Just listen to Brad Paisley's PLAY and you'll know what I mean!

and to those comparing urban to hendrix let me say this.....
the reason hendrix is so frickin popular is because he had flair, he would play a flaming guitar with his teeth, now because Urban doesn't do that it means he doesn't have talent? wtf of course he has talent equal to or greater than hendrix... case closed.

excuse me. Paisley is a completely different style than Urban but when come down to raw skills Urban is the best
