Well, I play guitar at a fairly advanced level, I know a ridiculous amount about the Beatles (I have an entire shelf-ful of books about them) and I have also studied contemporary classical music, and I think that this is one of the great pop songs of our time. Simple, effective, rousing, unpretentious, brilliant.
