you can poach that line from the bird on a board climbing up baldy and hitting it and taking the free bus back to the bird and your car. its a great run with better snow than the bird side.

From what I've heard, it's a wonderful resort. However, I, and many others, feel it has a discriminating rule.

Avalanges are from loaded snow, On steep slopes. The wind from a storm loads a lot of heavy snow on the other side of the wind. Stay off bowls and open areas the first few days after a big storm, the trees work as a ancor to help hold the snow on the slope. also stay off of corneses the heavy load at the top of ridges. some times the weight of one person is just enough to trigger a slide. If you do want to ride bowls shuits or more open steep slopes its a good idea to take turns one at a time.

it's up the Shoulder, on the Alta side, above the wildcat and old collins topstations. it runs down lookers right of Main Chute. |
