That sucks! A guy in my town was using a circular saw (hope thats the correct english term..) last week. Somehow the saw fell over, and he tried automatically to stop it from doing that. Unfortunally he took the high speed rotating saw blade with his hand. Result: 4 lost fingers and a deep cut in his upper thigh. So its not just about using hard hats, but also about THINKING ! And SECURING what gear you are using.
