He ran into the opposing teams half to be there for a corner - really stupid move considering that a corner kick could easily end up in either teams possession.

maybe an open goal, but from 60 yards you still need the power and accuracy to put it in the net. i'm not a fan of Beckham but many teams in europe and uk would still buy him if he became available!
