Words can't describe the greatness of this man, as a ball player, and as a human being, but I'm going to try my best. The luckiest man in the world is not you, Lou. It is each and every one of those fans and players who have witness you play the game of baseball, and witness you as a person. When has anyone seen such a majestic, humble, durable sportsman in all the lands? You are the epitome of what a great ballplayer is, and also what a great man is supposed to be. Wow! I've been reading his biography and this footage is incredible. He is a fascinating man, with a low profile. I think he was the greatest first baseman who ever played, especially as a hitter.

i have to say i am a big red sox fan, but i appreciate the game of baseball and its players. Especially the old time yankees seeing as my grandfather knew babe ruth. Thats why i have to say this is one of the best tributes to my favorite baseball player of all time. Whoever did this... it is perfect. R.I.P. Lou Gehrig, a red sox fans fave player of all time.
