ok its true im a total nostalgia junkie..but i have a neice with whom i have to sit and watch cartoons wenever shes over and to honest theres nothing that tickles my fancy....i like hey arnold but thats not exactly new is it...tell me the best of the new cartoons and ill check em out

Well like i said i watch both old and new animated shows all the time and the new ones feel more fun and exciting to watch. I have a feeling most people that say they prefer the old shows think so because of nostalgia and great memories from when they used to watch this stuff as kids but they have not actually seen them for a long time. I also think most of you people have not seen that much of the new stuff and you dislike it from the start only because its different from the old stuff.

Try the swatkats and the Road Rovers. Those were animated pretty good. And there are the legendairy Animaniacs. So there are enough good cartoons.

Sorry but i disagree with you. At least the new shows got way more exciting storys and more lovable characters than the old ones. Like i said i watch both new and old animated stuff all the time and it feels more fun to watch than the new shows. See the differences between the old and new He-man and TMNT shows for example. Anime is awesome and i love it but i was talking about western cartoons. I was more thinking about story and characters than the animation.

i beg to differ. they are actually worse. u might be refering to anime. anime is doing quite fine with animations. but american cartoons i'm sorry to say now is terrible when it comes to animation. lazy artwork and lazy animations. only one so far impresses me. SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS.
