Most people in the military are in it for the benefits...not necessarily for the "patriotism" that people yakk about. These wackos who run around saying that anyone who is not "christian" or "conservative" or "patriotic" in their perception...are simply facists. We are allowed to have discourse in this country. Our government reflects that every time it swings one way or the other.

Adrenaline7 - are you some kinda jar head recruiter? I know several young people serving in the military right now, active duty, 2 died in Iraq. They admit they are in it for the money/benefits because the economy sucks so bad, there are no jobs available in civilian life. If you were to kick out every soldier/sailor from the armed forces who was not "patriotic" in YOUR terms, we would not have a military at all. Were they cowardly to serve? No! They gave their lives.

Yes Sarah, we can talk about Afghanistan- what would you like to say?
SP: I think Borat is a great Afghan and we should make him the president of Afghanistan. |
