Kool & The Gang's backdrop already produced a laid back, nostalic kind of feel. Then the tweaking of it by Jeff, Will's lyrics, the video images that were burned into our brains, and the thirst for positive music work together to make it classic! It seems like they were just enjoying living and each other. Not a gun in sight, no gang signs, they even had their pants up!!! Love it.
