no my friend if you look around yourself, you will find that everything has it's reason be be exist. this is the clearest truth
nothing from nothing. so there is a creator who has created that world.
that was first
second i am religious and since i was young i has learned that no one has the right to kill any one and the spirit is the most precious thing.

Also love this one as well
"I maintain that the opprobrium cast upon the word Atheism is a lie. I believe Atheists as a body to be men deserving respect... I do not care what kind of character religious men may put round the word Atheist, I would fight until men respect it." - Charles Bradlaugh

CHRISTIANITY:
The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh & telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree..
I dont know who said this one but its brilliant

RetardePickle,
What you are saying is completely naive. If religion didn't exist, then yes, we might have been spared quite a lot of war and conflict, but the world still wouldn't be a fairy tale place of dreams and happiness where we all live happily ever after. There'd still be war and fighting. There are many other causes for these things than religion.

A couple of classic quotes illuminating the absurdity of religion - enjoy :)
The act of bellringing is symbolic of all proselytizing religions. It implies the pointless interference with the quiet of other people. ~Ezra Pound
In general, the churches, visited by me often on weekdays... bore for me the same relation to God that billboards did to Coca-Cola; they promoted thirst without quenching it. ~John Updike
