heh, thanks man. there are some good posters on sherdog, and i'm glad that at least some people consider me one of them. and with the gomi fight at sengoku things in the contenders forum have gotten worse (not as bad as after a kimbo fight though, damn).

was shooto first? maybe rings...i'm not 100% sure.
pancrase is my fav though!

Exactly my point. By the way, you are probably one of the only people on sherdog whose comments i can read and not shake my head. Congrats on that sir, because that is a rarity nowadays on sherdog.

yeah, i have often seen it argued that pancrase is not mma (often in connection with an argument about how bas "hardly accomplished anything in mma"). but i've still never seen a good reason for why pancrase should not be considered mma.

When there are talks about which mma fighter has the biggest heart, you often hear the names Big Nog, Enson Inoue, Jens Pulver, Tsuyoshi Kohsaka, Akira Shoji, Don Frye... but many people forget Vernon White. Just watch this fight and his fight vs liddell, and you will understand why Vernon should be right up there with the top as far as heart goes. |
