Would love to see the girls after all these years....
they had there say in the new wave movement of the 80's
They carved there own niche then like so many moved on.

Cool cast. The guy in the green shirt at 2:45is Lee Ving (singer of FEAR)and the young guy at 1:55 and 3:20 also played Wayatt in Wierd Science. Good times.....

'Wild Life' is on BananaRama's 'The Essentials' Collection. That CD is also like a compilation of this best songs.
'Wild Life' is a very underrated single of theirs. One of my favorites.
Had no idea it was a soundtrack to an actual movie, though.

I love this song and the movie...another reason growing up in the 80's was the best.

I agree, surprising it wasn't a hit. I think the majority of their 'live' performances in the early days are quite fun to watch though.

Unbelievable! It got lots of radio airplay and the video was in heavy rotation.I was only 10 yrs old so I assumed it was a hit.I remember seeing them lip-sync to it on an Anne Murray special and was so let down by how boring they were to watch (even w/special camera fx) - still love the song though.

Only made number 70 in the States. One of their best non-hits.

It was a hit in the States.Popular enough that the record company re-issued the album (the album with Cruel Summer on it) with this song as an additional track.Shame no one in the UK knows of this song.My fave by them.
