he gets arrested for expressing a legitimate comment. that itself shows the violation of humans rights and freedom of speech and the right to publicly express a political opinion. this is what he is fighting for the right to express and he is being victimized just for that.

Singapore is a free country. Its citizens are among the most travelled in the world. It has free communications Internet, magazines etc "Democracy Now" it makes no sense at all. We have been democratic all along and the Chees stood for election and lost badly. They are indeed sore loosers. They want to gain fame through civil disobedience. This is the way they can get some money from foreign support. Their supporters are loosers and find it convenient to blame the Govt for their woes.
