Dells are not mediocre at all. They're the largest PC manufacturer, and looks of a computer always depends on a person's opinions. It's really it's functionality that counts.

Owned a dell that i am using at this moment for over a year i chose what went in it and its been fine it does what i want to do; games, graphics and music. Though i am making the switch to mac ^.^

sony's for instance are A LOT better.
dells are cheap looking and mediocre.

Yes, connecting to a TV set - or even a monitor. Many new monitors are coming with HDMI connections now.
