This bullpup is not related to the SA80. I used the SLR for several years and the SA80 for one year. We all wanted our SLRs back! the earlier Enfield bullpup was better though.

The 7mm round the British were pushing for didn't get adopted because the US was pushing the for 7.62x51mm, not the 5.56--that came afterwards.
