Valerienanh, I'm not supporting one side or the other, but the Qur'an does indeed say that those who refuse Islam are infidels and infidels are to be put to death. Simple tenet, look it up.

Hitchens uses logically valid arguments with flawed premises- in other words his arguments are not sound and a bunch of shit. btw these Madrasas which hitchens is talking about are paid for by the U.S. govnt.
Fact #1: "Saudi" Arabia (oil lords) receieve the second most "free money grants" from the u.s. tax payers dollars - 1st being Israel.
Fact #2: USA land has more oil than saudi arabia, its just we dont pump the oil.
Fact#3: No where in the Quran does it say to kill "non-muslims"
