Finally some good, correct jazz bass advice on YouTube! Man, i've wanted to pull my hair out the past hour of watching videos on here! I rarely give right hand advice though, cause there are so many different ways to play. Left hand - basically one or two ways. Right hand - everyone is different it seems. After years of doing it one way, I can no longer change. I have a Marc Johnson-type right hand, for a more modern sound. I've made sure, though, that I pull enough to get a good sound.
