Bellissimo film, bellissimo tributo ad un ragazzo che non ha avuto paura di mettersi in discussione e andare a prendersi quello che voleva!!! Peccato che quando ha raggiunto la consapevolezza che nella vita si possono anche fare dei compromessi senza per questo rinunciare ai propri valori ...

I've readed Into The Wild several times, and my conclusion is that he was a GREAT MAN. He showed me that their are other ways to escape this organised world where people get murdered because they think different or something else. And why should he be egoistic? he left his parents to discover the real world, his parents should be proud about him. do you know how many people are inspired to live better because of that book(or movie).

McCandless spent 24000 dollar (all the money he had exept of maybe 100, don't know) to OXFAM, so you can't say he didn't think of the people who have nothing.
And you can't do always things wich would make others happy, you have to do sometimes things which make you happy and yor life beautiyfull. if you don't do that you can't live. everyone has to make the decisions which make him happy, too. So it was McCandless' idea of a happy life. It needn't be yours just his

Its really lame to re-invent wheel but v hav all the right to re-invent every piece mankind built to complete the puzzle of world in this very century lets see how to recreate world from scratch from stone age to this freakin age
