Grover was great at building an improvised solo. Just listen. He is always swelling and building up intensity to drive the song forward and keep the listener engaged.

Now, folks, this is music, real music. My body and soul is swaying with the full force of 49 years. Man, this is goooood stuff. Thank you, God, for having created Grover Washington Jr.

heart & soul is measured out in every chord
the strings of my emotions are strung to many memories that replay their song in beats & tones that add shades to photos in my mind
God Bless you Grover for your gift to this world
love & miss you Gazza

Incredible performance, so much passion in this music. Anthony Jackson's bass playing is total groove with Steve Gadd on drums. What an ensemble.

Madre mia, simplemente el mejor saxofonista de Smooth Jazz que ha existido para mi gusto. La verdad es que es una verdadera pena que personas tan increibles como el dejen este mundo. Por lo menos nos queda su musica, que no es poco. |
