Actually,native Americans founded this country and the settlers from europe(pilgrams) came to America and ran the Native americans out of their land.Thomas jefferson and George washington are just known as the "founding fathers" because of the declaration of indendpence_freedom from british rule.Black people are a big part of America..They are not just a color in the American fabric but the thread that holds it all together.
