I was 1 day old when the did this show. The song was great then and still great today. I wish the crappers knew how to sing harmonies like this.
And 42 years later Michelle Phillips is still a smoking MILF.

I was in the 6th grade in the spring of 1966 when I first heard this song. The harmonies from this song blew me away and I went down and spent .88 cents at the local record store to get this 45 rpm. I think I wore the record out by playing it soooo much.

I am in my twenties, and love this song. Mama Cass was a legend. Small minded ignorant fools making comments about a legend.....grow up and get a life!!!

Johnnash76,
That is all you could think of saying? You are obviously too ignorant of music to realize that you are insulting yourself by making that statement!
You need to go to Wikipedia, look up Cass Elliot and try to raise your I.Q.

Obviously happy to have the opportunity of performing on Hollywood Palace, they are performing at their all-time best here.

As the "fat girl," who normally wouldn't even make it to the stage, Mama Cass set self-consciousness aside because of the overwhelming need to perform and to "love that audience" above everything else. The audience got the message. Not enough can be said about the chemistry of the group. Mondays mornings were not better then. This was an self-affirming reflection on the "back to work" moment of truth which everyone experiences, a celebration of self (if you can pull off Monday morning well)! |
