Excellent song. I'm 20, born in 1988, grew up with all that 90s crap. I've been into punk music for a long time, but lately I've grown up enough (I think) to respect the true quality of music from the 60s-80s. As much as I held to punk for so long, I'd take being mellow and relaxed about life than being pissed all the time. If that means I've grown up a little, then hell, it's about time.

i love bob segar one of my favorites im only a teenager but i love the oldies bob segar is just one of the best in my mind wen my dad drives me n e ware we listen to oldies and just sing all the words we know...evn make sum up lol we always play name that song and singer oldies will always remind me of my pops when ever i listen to them especially bob segar whos workin on the night moves :)

Boy, this takes me back. Last year of college at North Dakota State, my drive from my folks' place in Cheyenne, Wyoming was 13 hours. The oldies stations got me through it (good thing Nebraska, Iowa and the Dakotas get such superb radio reception). I remember listening to this, riding down the highway on cruise control with the golden afternoon sun shining off the prairie grass...

Ah yes, cruising down the road with my dad. Telling jokes, reciting past experiences, just laughing, and nearly crashing when my dad had a flashback to his childhood. What memories with this song that I hope will always be there.
