You don't think puck handling between those cones are necessary? Thats pretty much how pro's become who they are. Also, kovalev was in the top 5 nicest goals of all last year, so what are you trying to say? When he's shooting with one hand like that, I know you coulden't even raise the puck let alone have a little heat behind it.. He is pretty much demestrating how good a pro can really get. If your in top 11 in points, your obviously doing something correct. You must be a leaf fan!

ok to put this arguement to rest i like ovechkin he is my favourite player infact but i like more his passion and determinatin he displays when he steps on the ice both grit and skill are both a part of hockey, passion hard work and determination will get you farther in hockey than skill alone and tricks like these

yeah but he is about passion for the game he does these moves but is also a huge team player and a great personalite but h5y thinks that hockey is all about the snipes and dangles a hardworking player who goes in the corners ie ovechkin and has grit scores more than a player who doesnt ie kovalev

you're half right. hockey is about hard work teamwork determination and grinding it out but saying the snipes and dangles dont matter and only belong in shinny and shootouts is silly. they add to the game and make it more exciting. look at your name. why is ovechkin one of the most exciting players in the game? because he works hard, hits makes place, and also because of his snipes and dangles.
