As a Brit.i've got to say how ridiculously biased the media is in America. Mccain gets grilled about gay marriage in a stand off, no compromise way. Ellen gets up and dances to Beyonce with Obama as soon as he's introduced. Ellen is a joke. Not even remotely objective.

I believe if 2 mature adults are 100% aware of their sexualityand are 100% aware that they love the one they are with and can see themselves with that person for the rest of their lives...there should be no issue with getting married.Itis because homosexuality is not widely accepted in society mainly dueto religious beliefs & narrowmindedness that its seen as inappropriate to legally marry.Your views do not have to meet their views,but a society has to accept difference to function respectively.

We all know the medical and psychological communities were bullied into saying homosexuality was normal.
Homosexuals are trying to do the same thing with marriage. An overwhelming majority of Americans do not think it is right and the homosexuals are stopping at no length screaming it is a civil right and it is normal.
15 judges in all U.S. history have embraced this and now they are saying homo-marriage is normal.
It is not.

POLYGAMY: having more than 1 spouse at the same time - be it 1 man with several wives or 1 woman with several husbands - was outlawed in the U.S. by Abraham Lincoln in 1862. Thats only 146-yrs ago.
POLYGYNY: is specifically, having several wives at the same time.
POLYANDRY: is specifically, having several husbands at the same time.

ENDOGAMY: is marrying within your own Family - which went on a lot in the Old Testament. Abraham & Sarah had the same Father, different Mothers.
EXOGAMY: is marrying outside your Family.
MONOGAMY: is having only one Spouse at a time.
COMMON LAW MARRIAGE: When a man & woman have lived together (as Husband & Wife) for at least 7-yrs. w/o ever having a formal ceremony.
ARRANGED MARRIAGE: When the heads of two families arrange their son & daughter to wed.

PROXY MARRIAGE: Either the Bride or Groom is absent & a Substitute stands in during the Ceremony.
DOWRY MARRIAGE: The Bridge offers gifts of Money, Goods or Land to her Groom at the Wedding. Or, the Groom offers Money, Goods or Land to the Brides father (practiced in the Old Testament).
CHILD MARRIAGE: When the Bride is between ages 7 & 15. Some countries consider 16 the age for a female to legally wed. Others, 18.
