ajnob: It was common knowledge at the time that Rory's death was due to liver failure due to over prescribed medication (mostly painkillers).

Alright, i said i wasn't lookin for an argument when i said I preferred Rory to SRV and some nobhead sent me a message about how i was a retard that knew nothing about music! TBH i just found it funny!I make it clear that they both are excellent but i prefer Rory, and he mouths off. Some low lifes are just looking for reasons to impose their ignorance upon other people i guess! Peace.

srv was flashy, but nonetheless great, and remains overrated, even more so due to his early death (RIP). rory on the other hand, didnt appeal to the public eye as much, but was more raw. Overall, id say rory was better

Rory was voted rythm and blues greatest guitarist by NME, if my memory serves me well, it was in 1966 or was it 1967. Anyway we have lost a legion. RIP.
