Make no mistake...Cheney (unlike Bush) has ALWAYS been smart. He's just a greedy C**t!

True Johnny , but obviously you don't live in Texas. I am surrounded by people that think Bush is one of the best presidents that ever lived...
I am not kidding.
In order to put a limit to the pardon, people would have to be aware that there is something wrong with the current system. Many people just can't see past their own party. The world would be would be a better place if people didn't let labels (such as Dem or Rep) make their choices and do their thinking for them.

Let me pose this question then. Do you really think George Bush would have admitted that there had been a mistake in military inteligence if there was any chance that Iraq had WMDs at any recent time??? I don't either. Instead he would have at least been one of the many that used the cop out, "They must have moved them."

Those GOP bastards will just get pardoned by whatever Reptilians are still in office ...
We need to put limits on the pardon, like "no pardoning your co-conspiritors".

McALLEN, Texas Vice President Dick Cheney and former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales have been indicted on state charges involving federal prisons in a South Texas county.
Cheney is charged with engaging in an organized criminal activity related to his investment in the Vanguard Group, which holds financial interests in the private prison companies running the federal detention centers.
It accuses Cheney of a conflict of interest and "at least misdemeanor assaults" on detainees.
