wait, he said single stroke. of course his hands were too fast for me to see but it kinda looked liked he went into double strokes at the end. if they were indeed single, that's scary

" the basic idea is to increase speed, power, finesse, badassery, money, and smarts, while using less time, energy, and real though at all."
"i'm gonna do this perfectly real quick, and show you what the perfect triplets should sound like, except slower so you humans can comprehend"
Royster is sick.

jojo is the only drummer to study from jim chapin and get moeller right in its entireity...
jojo's dvd is the best tape on technique ever...
WillWatson23 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Im going to have to disagree. Tony explains the 3 stroke moeller here, Jojo completely breaks down the moeller in his dvd. He explains the principals behind it, using diagrams, shows you the two, three and four stroke moeller. He also shows you the variations of it such as the moeller pull out. Nothing against royster, hes and amazing player but 'Secret Weapons for the Modern Drummer' is definatly a must buy.
