They don't multitask like that. It's just keyboard or guitar with singing the same time. By the way, none of them play bass onstage, do they? I know why. Bass isn't cool enough anymore, because you can't hear it, and hardly anyone knows what one is anymore. A bass is more important in the music than a guitar is. The bass provides body, but these three seem intent on downplaying it's role.

The boys actually play a lot of different instruments. Yes, they have a back up band, so what? They still run around stage for different numbers on different instruments, but my guess is that it's hard to sing, play guitar, play keyboard, play drums, play etc etc... at the same time.
