Seriously, my brown belt teacher(from Skip Hancock(Ed Parker Kenpo)) could stomp a bull, but my black-belt teacher(Aiki-Jitsu(+UFC ref/etc) could put him in a hold, make him say uncle and apologize, and walk his dumbass outside to sober up and feel like a jack*ss for a while. Actually the brown belt sounds scarier...

Most MMA guys do. Mixed Martial Arts means they use everything they can to kick people's asses. Joe had the guy in a Muay Thai neck hold to control him. He could have knocked the guy out if he wanted to. Check out some MMA and you'll see it used all the time. It's very difficult to get out of, especially if the guy your holding isn't experienced. Then one good knee to the head and he's out!
