Oops sorry that should 767B 4 rotor engine .....
debonpanton (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Haven't seen the displacement posted anywhere but it tri-rotor that generates 450HP and runs on E100. Does anyone know if it uses 3 spark plugs per chamber like the 767B 3 rotor engine that won 1991 24 hours of Le Mans race?

Love the design of this car. From the outside it looks like this car would have poor visibility out of it but they seemed to have designed it very well. The sound is also unbelievable but then "Furai" means "Sound of the wind".

This is the base for the RX-9, what a sound, what a symphony, long live Mazda.
What racing drivers love with rotary engines is that they never have to worry about their reliability, they can just hit the gas pedal as much as they want, as long as they want, as they do when they win an endurance race in an RX-8 (Daytona this year). |
